About GENESIS
A story told in light and music.
The idea
GENESIS retells the story of Creation without a single spoken word. Light, colour and an original score carry the story from darkness to a living world, scene by scene.
What you will see
Projections cover the walls and vaults of the hall, so the room itself becomes the screen. You sit inside the image rather than in front of it. The show lasts 25 minutes, long enough to lose yourself and short enough to fit into any day in Kraków.
Made for every language
There is no narration and no dialogue. Whether you speak Polish, English, Italian or Japanese, you follow the same story in the same way. It works for children and adults alike.
Royal Chopin Hall
The show takes place in Royal Chopin Hall, Bernardyńska 2, at the foot of Wawel Hill in Kraków's Old Town, a short walk from the Main Market Square. The historic interior, with its vaulted ceiling, is part of the performance.
A production that travels
GENESIS is part of a touring production that has been staged in other European cities, including Warsaw, Amsterdam and Vienna. Kraków is its current home.
